Osteopathy is system of manual medicine that
recognizes the body's innate wisdom to restore its own
balance. Some techniques used are: cranial/sacral therapy
and slow gentle touch that promotes the flow of cerebral
spinal fluid.
Myofascial
techniques, releasing restrictions in connective tissue,
structural techniques, gentle, precise joint manipulations
and visceral manipulation all help organs find places
of balance so they can 'breathe'.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient system
of medical diagnosis, which looks at various pulse qualities,
an examination of the tongue, and abdominal palpation.
After a diagnosis is made, oriental medicine uses a
combination of modalities which may include:
Acupuncture
[Chinese and Japanese]
Acutonics [special tuning forks]
herbal medicine [loose herbs or patent formulas available]
qi gong and meditation [homework to promote balance]
diet therapy: [guidelines to maximize potential]
